” I was looking for something for my children to do over spring break. I knew that I didn’t want my children spending their spring break on their electronics the whole time. So when I stumbled across a Facebook post about the Welcome Farm and it’s Spring Break Camp, I researched it a little and decided to give it a try. My children had never been around horses. They knew nothing about horses or riding horses. While I thought they would probably enjoy themselves, I had no idea they would fall so much in love with the horses and the farm!
From day one, my children came home talking about how much fun they had and how amazing it was to be around the horses all day. They came home filthy and tired and with a great appetite for dinner everyday, which is exactly what Spring Break is for! I loved seeing them dirty and dusty and so tired after a full day of grooming and riding horses! I stayed and watched for a while on the third morning. I was amazed to see my boys petting, grooming, saddling, and handling the horses like they had been around horses their entire life. They learned so much and had such a wonderful time. The Welcome Farm Spring Break Camp was an amazing experience for my children, so much so that they begged to go back for Summer Camp. Of course I’m sending them back! My children have fallen in love with riding and now are taking riding lessons even between camps.
The farm has such an opening, welcoming feeling. I loved watching all the children play with the dogs and chickens and love on the horses.
Excellent and kind instructors, a beautiful location and enough adventure to keep the kids going all day long!”

“The Welcome Farm offered their first Horse Camp for children this week. It has been such a positive experience for my family! The instructors are first class, patient and kind. The horses are beautiful and amazing! The environment honestly nourishes all your senses! My child learned so much in such a short time, we can’t wait for the next camp offering! She made new friends…and has fallen in love with horses! We HIGHLY recommend The Welcome Farm…not only for meeting your equestrian needs, but also for the little piece of paradise it offers from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Do yourself a favor…stay for a while in their guest house! Schedule a riding lesson! Or inquire about future camps! You will be glad you did!”

“The Welcome Farm’s Spring Break camp was exceptional! My daughter loved every moment; she was well cared for and learned so much. Each day we were welcomed and I knew that my daughter was safe, entertained, and happy beyond measure. Thank you!”
